I was really genuinely starting to question if I made this up, I was so certain there was a plague demo but i didn’t have it saved and I couldn’t find it online, I’m so happy to hear this again after so many years 😍😍😍

Apparently some of these videos are mash-ups of remastered Landscape Tantrums with the original Demo? I had a heated contest with someone who knows more about this than me, so somebody else please fill in here...

Apparently some of these videos are mash-ups of remastered Landscape Tantrums with the original Demo? I had a heated contest with someone who knows more about this than me, so somebody else please fill in here... I'm not sure what's going on with the videos, but the raw audio is available on Archive.org. There's 3 leaked versions of Cicatriz that I know of, that aren't the final album version released on CD/vinyl. 1) There's the 4-minute version recorded in 2001, aka "Cicatrix". This was TMV's first ever recording, with Blake Fleming on drums. This and Roulette Dares are the two tracks from this session. 2) The 7-minute Cicatriz is a different recording to the Demo 1 version and it's from 2002, this almost ended up on Landscape Tantrums but I guess it was too long or something. 3) There's a 3rd recording, from 2002 or 2003, that's 12-minutes long, which is the Deloused version, just not the final mix. Some of the background vocals are louder. There's also two versions of Plague. This one that leaked recently is the demo version from 2002. The other one that's been floating around was recorded for the final Deloused album in 2002 or 2003 but was eventually cut - this 2nd version is what's ended up on the 12" record in La Realidad De Los Sueños box set. The demo version is 4:26. The Deloused version is 4:40, slightly longer and a completely different take.
